South Bank’s Best Pasta Everything

There’s something about a bowl of mouth-watering, delectable pasta that never fails to disappoint. With so many options from spag bowl to linguine marinara, it’s only fair we’re forever grateful for pastas existence.

With World Pasta Day around the corner (October 25!) we think it’s only fitting we present you with all the pasta dishes you’ll want to know about at South Bank.

1. Slow-Cooked Italian Sausage Penne from South Beach Social
Everything is crazy delicious at South Beach Social, and their pasta is no exception. Featuring slow cooked fresh pork and fennel sausage, tomato, onion, garlic, chilli and parmesan, their Italian Sausage Penne is to die for. We mean seriously, slow-cooked sausage, people!

2. Beef Bolognese from Mister Paganini
When it comes to pasta, simple (and delicious) is always best. And what better way to bring on those nostalgic childhood mems than with a big old bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese. Made with beef bolognese, oregano and parmesan, this is a guaranteed winner.

3. Ravioli Con Zucca from Popolo
Popolo’s focus is all about dishes that can be shared and enjoyed together. The Ravioli Con Zucca is made with pumpkin and ricotta ravioli, pumpkin puree, amaretti crumle, padano and burnt sage butter – and trust us when we say, you won’t want to share this one.

4, Creamy Basil Pesto Gnocchi at Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers
With an Italian-inspired menu filled to the brim with mouth-watering gnocci, Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers is a winner in our books. Get your hands on their house-made gnocchi served with their traditional basil pesto sauce, and you’ll never look back.

5. Carbonara from Papa Rossi Ristorante
Known for their traditional Italian offerings, Papa Rossi Ristorante’s pasta is your best bet if you’re looking for a delicious staple. Our personal favourite? The Carbonara, so fresh yet so creamy. This delicious dish also features pancetta and a white cream sauce… say no more.

6. Mixed Mushroom Penne from South Bank Beer Garden
If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that we love mushrooms in all their punchy, delicious forms. But mixed with a vegan penne pasta, pesto, parmesan and cherry tomatoes? Now that’s a winner to us.

7. Fettuccini of Seasonal Garden Vegetables from Aquitaine
Picture this: freshly cooked seasonal vegetables, burnt butter, sage, walnut and fried shallot crumb, and truffle pecorino mixed to make a heavenly fettucine. Now quit imagining and get your hands on Aquitaine’s Fettuccini of Seasonal Garden Vegetables.

8. Seafood Pasta from Barbossa
Oh, how seafood pasta hits the spot every time. Barbossa’s Seafood Pasta with fresh seafood, roast garlic, chilli, lime and fresh tomato is guaranteed to have your tastebuds singing.

Psst… we’re giving you the chance to win a bottomless pasta experience at Mister Paganini. Don’t let your chance to win pasta by, get entering here.
