Barambah Organics is one of the finest producers of dairy products in Australia. Its award-winning products such as bottled milk, cheeses and yoghurts can be found in many stockists across Australia and are highly regarded thanks to Barambah’s organic farming methods.
Ian and Jane Campbell took over control of Barambah Organics in the late 1990s after Ian’s father retired. The couple has maintained the same organic practices to ensure the company’s product quality since becoming certified organic in 2002.
Located on the Dumaresq River and the Macintyre Brook, two of the most reliable river systems in Queensland, Barambah Organics uses next to no chemicals or artificial fertilisers and instead focuses heavily on sustainable composting to maintain soil health. The soil helps to maintain a healthy crop for the herd, which is 80% grass fed, with a diet supplemented with grains and minerals during milking times.
