Chocolate lovers, rejoice! South Bank’s iconic chocolate bar, Max Brenner, is inviting all chocolate aficionados to join them at their grand reopening this Friday, July 24.
So, what celebrations are in store? If their brand-spankin’ new set up wasn’t enough (ice cream bar, anyone?), on July 24 from 4pm there will be an official chocolate breaking ceremony, where 100kg of pure, delicious chocolate will be smashed into pieces for all to enjoy for free.
The best part? The reopening will be just in time for the launch of Max’s Winter Dessert creations, which are not to be missed. There’s the Sticky Date Pudding, speckled with chocolate, topped with whipped cream and served with a rich caramelised sauce; or, if you’re more of a chocolate enthusiast, their Mini Choc-Hazelnut Scrolls based with hazelnut chocolate, and served with a pure milk chocolate are for you.
You’re not a true Brisbanite until you’ve finished up your night at South Bank with one of their iconic chocolate creations. So, grab your best winter coat and join in on the delicious fun.
