May marks a very special month for fellow truck lovers. It’s when we get together and welcome Brisbane Truck Show, from May 13 to 16.
The best part? They’re back with an epic festival to celebrate its arrival, filled to the brim with a range of events, installations and dining deals fit for the entire crew.
Without further ado, here’s your South Bank Truck Festival itinerary.
Laservision Water and Light Spectacular | Streets Beach to South Bank Lagoon | Thursday 13 May – Saturday 15 May, 7pm – 9pm (every half hour)
Presented by LASERVISION, an incredible display of dancing water, mesmerising laser light and larger than life video projection will combine into a fun-filled show celebrating Australia’s Heavy Vehicle Industry.
Live Music | Stanley Street Plaza and River Quay Green | Thursday 1 May – Sunday 16 May
Grab a picnic from one of the local South Bank venues and relish in live music at Stanley Street Plaza or River Quay Green with friends and family.
Rainforest Play Zone | Rainforest Green | Friday 14 May – Saturday 15 May, 10am – 4pm
Head over to South Bank’s Rainforest Green on Friday and Saturday to take part in all the family friendly fun, with activities suited to all ages.
Truck Festival Meal Deals | South Bank | Thursday 13 May – Sunday 16 May

Wine, dine and overlook a show-stopping display of trucks and trailers along Little Stanley Street and Stanley Street Plaza. Each display will have a unique story to tell, so be sure to read each as you pass by.
Truck Fest Outdoor Cinema | Rainforest Green | Friday 14 May – Saturday 15 May, 6pm – 8pm
Enjoy two family favourites on the big screen with the Brisbane skyline as the backdrop! On Friday you can look forward to the Disney classic “Cars,” and Saturday “Monster Trucks.”
Truck Push for Kids | Little Stanley Street | Friday 14 May, 8am
Strap yourselves in for an epic show! In an official Guinness World Record attempt, Strongman Troy Conley-Magnusson will attempt to push a 12 tonne Freightliner Cascadia prime mover over 30 metres, all to raise money for charity.
