We’re very excited that you’ll have a stall this year at South Bank’s Christmas Markets presented by eatSouthBank! Can you give us a hint at what treats you will have in store for us?
We’re coming fully loaded. We’re bringing the Zumbo classics including Zumbarons, Brownies and Zonuts. But we will also have plenty of Christmas treats in store, including Fruit Mince Pies and Puddings!
You were most recently in South Bank for Regional Flavours, what do you love most about the event?
I had the opportunity to sample some produce from the Regional Flavours stall holders and I was blown away. You have some great local produce!
You are widely known for your ambitious and outlandish dessert inventions. Where do you get your ideas and inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from everywhere to be honest. It can come from recent travels, a nostalgic flavour I’ve been thinking about or even an idea that pops into my head while I’m in the shower!
The festive season is now upon us! Where will you be spending Christmas this year and what does a typical ‘Zumbo’ family Christmas involve?
I’ll be with my family at our beach house on the NSW coast. Mum does all the cooking – lots of home cooking including ravioli and trifle!
