Best Winter Drinks Round-Up

Winter can be a hard one to navigate when it comes to drinks. Gone are the carefree days of enjoying tropical fruity concoctions, because we need something which will warm us up, and warm us up fast. Here our top picks that will (almost!) have you wishing it was winter all year round…

Nutella Hot Chocolate, Denim Co.
If you need convincing on this one, then we feel sorry for you because you obviously have not discovered the heaven-on-earth that is Nutella. This one from Denim combines lashings of the delicious hazelnut spread with creamy chocolate to create a balanced drink that feels like you’re on the receiving end of a warm hug.

Espresso Martini, Ole Sangria Bar
Ah, espresso martini’s – the dark horse of the cocktail world.  This one from Ole is the perfect accompaniment to the harsh winter weather. Not only does it provide you with that whole dark and mysterious allure as you drink it, but will also provide you with a much needed ‘kick-start,’ courtesy of the caffeine hit so you can enjoy the night ahead.

Turkish Apple Tea, Ahmet’s
We don’t know the exact person who first brought Turkish apple tea to the shores of Australia but boy, are we glad they did. Nothing is sweeter in winter than this. Our tip? Enjoy on a lazy grey afternoon with a side of their fragrant Turkish delight sprinkled with rose petals.

Hot Spiced JD Honey and Apple, Barbossa Bar
If you’ve been lulled into a winter hibernation of sorts, then this drink is sure to wake you up! It’s an inviting mix of JD, apple and honey which is sure to warm you up.
