Queensland Maritime Museum

A historical goldmine, Queensland Maritime Museum is located at the heritage-listed South Brisbane Dry Dock. Constructed to aid in reparing and building ships, the dock was operational until 1973, and today the World War II navel vessel HMAS Diamantina berthed in the dry docks forms the centrepiece of the museum's extensive collection of Australian and international maritime history.

For more information visit the Queensland Maritime Museum website.

South Bank Corporation recognises the traditional owners of the lands at South Bank, the Turrbal and Yuggera people. We also pay our respects to their elders, past and present, and the elders from other communities who visit from time to time
