World Science Festival - Brisbane

World Science Festival Brisbane is an acclaimed celebration of science, ideas and creativity, and the largest festival of its kind in Australia. Founded by renowned physicist Professor Brian Greene and Emmy award-winning journalist Tracy Day in New York in 2008.

Returning from 15-24 March 2024, luminaries of science from across the world will present the beauty, complexity and importance of science through diverse, multidisciplinary programming and conversations.

Further to that, Queensland Museum's scientists, curators, researchers and conservators will delve into the Museum's vaults to showcase some fascinating specimens and share insights into Queensland's natural and cultural history.

Visitors can engage in hands-on science, catch a rare glimpse of loggerhead turtles hatching, explore the interconnection between science and art, and more!
