Summer Festival

Discover a jam-packed schedule of adventure at State Library’s Summer Festival these school holidays. Make, write, sing, dance, create and explore – with activities for children of all ages, there will be something new and exciting for your family to discover.

Under 8s will enjoy singing and dancing, making wrapping paper and gift tags or helping to build large-scale cardboard and building block worlds.

Older children can build robot racers, join a scavenger hunt, take a Manga illustration class or join a writing workshop for budding young authors.

Teens can join a facilitated Dungeons and Dragons workshop or get hands-on with high-tech equipment at The Edge, including the laser cutter and 3D printer, and make personalised objects to take home.
