Have You Tried South Bank’s Free Exercise Classes Yet?

Spring has sprung and with it comes the return of the Medibank Feel Good Program, a series of free outdoor fitness classes in South Bank Parklands.

Held on the Little Stanley Street Lawn from Monday 2 October until Saturday 2 December 2017, classes include yoga, cardio, bootcamp, active kids and more. Bookings are not required and all ages and fitness levels are welcome.

Classes:
Yoga

Enjoy this free yoga class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. This class uses relaxation and breath to encourage balance, flexibility and energy flow. It also harnesses classic postures and stretches to align your spine.

Core Strength

Enjoy this free Core Strength class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. Stand leaner and taller by enhancing your core in this dynamic class. It focuses on chiselling your abs, glutes, back and obliques.

Boot Camp

Enjoy this free Bootcamp class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. Tone your major muscle groups through a series of drills in this hardcore interval and strength training class.

Mums and Bubs

Enjoy these free Mums and Bubs classes, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. Bring bub along for this specialised post-natal class to help you rebuild strength and tone popular target areas. Class is suitable for bubs under 12 months.

Cardio

Enjoy this free Cardio class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. Energise your body and mind with this low impact, high intensity aerobics class. It’s also a high-calorie burning workout, using a mix of boxing, squats, lunges and running.

Dance

Enjoy this free Dance class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. Get moving to the beat while melting calories in this fun, social class. It focuses on easy dance moves, including jazz, hip hop and ballet to increase your fitness.

Active Kids

Enjoy this free Active Kids class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. This fun workout for kids aged 5-12 helps create healthy habits from an early age and provides the building blocks for a positive body image.

Aqua
Enjoy this free Aqua class, held in the stunning surrounds of the South Bank Parklands. Splash down and tone up while gliding through the refreshing water of South Bank’s Boat Pool. Aqua is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, but is especially beneficial for pregnancy and rehabilitation.

These classes are a part of South Bank’s free Medibank Feel Good Program. Held from Monday 2 October until Saturday 2 December, the Program features eight different fitness classes, all taught by qualified instructors.
