Denim Co.’s Gorgeous New Look

DAMN, Denim Co! You sure are looking good.

The popular Little Stanley Street cafe has had a facelift and the results are fabulous.

The fit out is by West End based interiors team Derlot. Colours are kept to a minimum, with just a splash of aqua offsetting all the white. The furniture is decidedly modern and the fashionable wall-length print inside is reminiscent of Denim Co’s early days where owner Fara Sutjipto would sell you jeans while you sip a latte.

The setting isn’t the only new thing. No, sir. Steve Warden-Hutton has joined the team as Head Chef. Having worked at Montrachet and Baguette, he was the only man for the job! Steve’s first task? Revamping the menu. À la carte newcomers include house-made cold pressed juices, israeli cous cous vegetable salad and chipotle spiced savoury mine with poached eggs and flat bread.

Don’t worry, the jaffles and waffles aren’t going anywhere. In fact, golden waffles are now being served with vanilla panna cotta, chocolate honeycomb and butterscotch sauce.
